Orchid Class 102 is the continuum to Orchid Class 101. In this class you will learn more advanced material and information on the more difficult Orchids to grow. We do recommend that you take Orchid Class 101 first, as that will allow you to obtain the basic care information before embarking on the more challenging species. The class will be conducted in the same format as the first class. It will be held One Thursday evening at the beginning of each quarter so you can find the dates for these classes in January, April, July, and October on our calendar page. David Bird will be your instructor for this particular class and will take you to the more in-depth stages of Orchid culture. Similar to how you were asked to re pot a non-blooming Moth Orchid in Orchid Class 101, in Orchid Class 102 you will get the opportunity to mount a Orchid onto a piece of cork and create your own ‘Cork Orchid’ to take home at the end of the evening. More details will be available in our Class handouts and registration can be done by phone, in-person, or through the mail.
