Every Tuesday we are open to the public from 10am-8pm. Orchids, decorative pots, all orchid supplies, and much more are available for sale. We provide short tours, orchid diagnosis, repotting at a small charge, and answer any and all questions!
Wednesday-Friday is also a time where visitors are welcome, we just require a phone call prior to your visit to confirm someone is indeed there to answer any questions and assist with desired needs.
We also conduct tours for large groups. We ask for groups of 10 people or more and have a small charge of $5 per person. David Bird will be your tour guide and will lead you through all of his growing rooms in addition to providing the basics of each variety and proper growing information. Neat critters, very rare orchids, and toad houses can be spotted along the way!! Call the cave at 816-252-4478 to schedule!
